Sofra is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the app or its content without written permission.
Recipes are provided for informational and cultural preservation purposes only. Always use safe food handling practices. Proper food safety is your responsibility. When in doubt, consult a professional food safety resource.
Certain traditional dishes such as Kibbeh Nayeh involve raw or minimally processed meat. These dishes should only be prepared using the freshest ingredients sourced from a trusted, licensed butcher or supplier. Consumption of raw meat carries inherent food safety risks. By preparing such dishes you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Contributor payments are calculated based on recipe engagement metrics recorded locally on user devices. Sofra reserves the right to update the revenue sharing formula with reasonable notice to contributors.
All app content, design, and code is the property of Sofra and its licensors. Community-submitted recipe stories remain the property of their authors; by submitting you grant Sofra a non-exclusive license to display your content within the app.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sofra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
